March Test Drive


Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Have no fear, a meme for you is here.



Directions:
  • Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
  • Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
  • If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
  • Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.



    Locations:

    1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.

    2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

    3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

    4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

    5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

    6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

    7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.


    Scenarios

    1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

    2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

    3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

    4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!

    "Those animals must be full of some incredible beef hormones," he joked, shoving his hands into his pockets and hopping down. His feet touched lightly on the ground as he looked the man over.

    "Right now there's a custom tailor who is makin' a ton of dough from you. Guess you're one of the new guys, then."

    "I guess. I was just happy that we got fed." Because being orphans on Cocoon could go only two ways—you lived or you starved. NORA members lived and fought back.

    And while the other guy checked him out, Snow was checking him out as well. Not as tall or as buff as he himself was, but the way he moved stated that he could be dangerous. This was an opponent that would cause him some trouble if they had to tangle. Just the thought of it made him a little excited, but he was trying to take his duties here in Ruby City seriously.

    Starting a fight with a stranger to see what it would be like was definitely not the way to go about trying to impress Lightning again.

    "I thought this place didn't run on money. That's what Serah told me anyway."

    "It doesn't. Room is free, supplies are free. The only thing that isn't free is us. We're all trapped here, and we all got here just the same as you did. Thank the benefactors of this place for that, if they even bother to show themselves. Not a reliable bunch."

    He puts out one hand to him. Might as well start strong.

    "Akira Inugami, from the country of Japan, Planet Earth. Nice to meetcha'."

    "Yeah, I got that about this place. Not the first time I've been in a sticky situation though. Probably won't be the last either, if my luck's anything to go by."

    Most people would sound resentful, and to be fair, he was. But he was trying his best to not let it get to him and keep his eyes focused on the task ahead, whatever that might be. Right now, it was making a new acquaintance.

    So, he had no problem shaking this guy's hand.

    "Snow Villiers, from New Bodhum on Gran Pulse. Nice to meet you too."

    Snow's lips twitched up into a smirk that lasted for all of three seconds before he found himself smiling completely.

    "Yeah, Gran Pulse, or just Pulse, is the world below Cocoon. I grew up on Cocoon, if that makes any sense."
