1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.

2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

He'd seen the strangely suited guy before he entered the tower, so he wasn't caught off guard like he would have been otherwise. He was another resident of the city, one on the patrols, but he wasn't someone that Snow had actually met before.

"Nah, this place is pretty much the best place to view the city before going out to protect everyone. I'm just taking a break." He held out his hand for the other man to take. "Snow Villiers."

Steve grinned at the words, and how closely they reflected his own thoughts. He pulled off his cowl, letting it fall back so his face was uncovered, and stepped closer to take Snow's hand and give it a firm shake. "Steve Rogers. I was doing the same thing. See anything noteworthy yet?"

A strong hand shake and a friendly smile that was all it took for Snow to realize that he'd probably like this guy the more he got to know him. He went with his gut on these things and not once had it steered him wrong, despite what a certain former Guardian Corps member thought.

"There's some movement in the northern part of the city," Snow said, pointing that way. "But, I know for a fact that the chick with the bike and Elena were out that way too. So, hard to tell. That's why I was hoping to get a better look."

Steve had a similar impression of Snow, just from what little he'd seen, and he was glad to get a chance to meet him properly.

He stepped closer to the edge, looking out towards the north in the direction Snow had pointed. "Might be monsters, though I think Miss Elena can probably handle a couple of those." He glanced back. "That 'chick' with the bike? You're talking about Celty I assume? Motorcycle helmet with no head inside?"

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I've seen Elena in action, and I kinda have the feeling that she's the type you don't want to meet in a dark alley."

Snow looked confused when Steve said that Celty had no head.

"Uh, she wears a yellow helmet and rides around on her motorcycle, yeah. Are you saying she really has no head? What?"

"Apparently," Steve said wryly. "That's the one. She's got smoke coming out of her neck, and I'm not really clear on exactly what her deal is." He glanced at Snow. "Ever notice how she doesn't talk?"

"I, uh, just thought it was her thing."

Snow knows some strange people, okay?

"Huh, so no head. Wonder how she walks around then."

"It doesn't seem to phase her much, except for not having a mouth to talk with," Steve said. "I didn't ask her how she sees. It kinda seemed like a personal question."

"Yeah, I guess that's true." Snow scratched at the back of his head, feeling a lot self-conscious after that. "So, uh, what do you do when you're not on duty?"

He'd heard a lot about some of the places and people here, but this guy wasn't really one of them.

"Hmm, good question," Steve said with a wry grin. "Most of my day is being spent on duty these days, trying to learn as much as I can."

"That's no good. You gotta learn to relax sometimes." He smiled slightly. "Being tense all the time is bad for you. How about we head to the bar after patrolling?"

The smile, and the suggestion, bring an answering grin. "Hey, I didn't say I was tense all the time. Just busy." He chuckled. "Sure, let's go. Just so you know, though, I can't get drunk."

"Well, I can't get drunk either. Serah'd have my head if I came back like that." He gave the super soldier a clap on the shoulder. "So, what's your deal?"

He grinned. "Oh, you know, they did this experiment and now my metabolism won't let me get drunk, but I can also bench press a small car. You're dating Serah Fallon?"
