June Test Drive~!

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

[ He shakes his head, rueful. ]
Did you know him before he became a vengeful spirit?
no subject
[She shakes her head. This next part might be a little tough to explain, and they DID just meet. Does he really want to know her whole life story right from the get go? She's pretty sure he doesn't!]
It's a little complicated! And it's definitely a weird story to tell, you might think I'm crazy, ha ha!
Ne, are you hungry? We can get you something to eat on the way while I give you a tour of the city.
no subject
[ He smiles, a little apologetic. Besides, he's Spider-Man. It's kind of a crazy and weird story on its own, so he isn't one to talk.
Aaaand at the mention of food, his stomach grumbles too. ]
Yeah, actually. I could go for something. What's available here?
no subject
You have a point, ha ha ha!
[She grins, silently grateful for his understanding. He's kind of awesome, isn't he? How lucky that she got to meet a new friend today!]
Well, ordinarily I'd say crepes, but it sounds like your stomach wants something a little more substantial. How about a grilled sandwich and a lemonade? Those are pretty portable, and if the sandwich is grilled, the fillings are less likely to fall out!
no subject
I can't think of anything better than that.
[ Peter's stomach, grumbling on cue, can't agree more.
Well, that's a little embarrassing. He chuckles, apologetic. ]
Sorry about that. Guess all that excitement from being in a new place is finally wearing off to more realistic needs like food. And you said the food here is free?
no subject
Mm! So are the clothes, supplies, furniture... Just about anything! Some people run businesses out of boredom, and they prefer to barter favors and things like that. But you won't go hungry here, that's for sure.
[She leads the way, tipping her head back with a dreamy expression.]
And the beds are wonderful and soft! I'm getting incredibly spoiled, ha ha!
no subject
Wow. Boredom?
[ Peter laughs, tucking his hands into the pockets of his jeans and moving to walk alongside her. ]
Is that all there is to do here? I mean, why bring us to this place just to give everything to us for free?
no subject
[She smiles apologetically, rubbing the back of her neck.]
There's still a lot to explore, and the monsters can be a threat so if you're okay with fighting them, then I guess it's hard to be truly bored. I like talking to the people in the city, though. Everyone has a different story, and there are different worlds and races... Really, the people are the best part!
no subject
[ Maybe even a little eager. It gives him something to do, after all. A kind of short-term goal.
Of course, he's not sure he's ready to reveal the whole superhero thing yet. So ... hastily: ] Uh - if I have to, that is.
[ Smooth save there, Parker. ]
Yeah, people are cool too.
[ Let's just talk about the people part more. ]
You've met a lot of people here?
no subject
[She has a feeling he'll probably get along well with Dick Grayson. Both are incredibly nice people, and they have acrobatics in common.]
Do you have many monsters where you're from?
[He didn't seem all that phased when she brought it up, so she figures he probably deals with them on a regular basis. Or semi-regular.]
