Plotting post for 'Loki gains yet another powerful magical weapon'
So at some point today, Loki is going to get his hands on Gold's dagger and figure out just what he's gotten hold of. Needless to say, this is not good news for anyone, though I suspect the person most unhappy with this turn of events is undoubtedly Gold himself.
Fortunately for Ruby City, I doubt Loki has any intentions of city domination. Which is good, because Gold would hate to be used as a weapon against the place. However, until stated otherwise, Gold's shop is effectively closed, and he won't be answering his watch unless he's alone.
At some point either later this week or some point next week, Gold will be calling in the favors owed to him. Thus a post filtered to Aqua & Dante will go up telling them that he wishes for them to retrieve something stolen from him and for them to return it to him. He'll reveal that the object to be retrieved is a monogrammed kris dagger, bearing the name 'Rumpelstiltskin' and that Loki possesses it.
That will be the entirety of the first message, but if pressed further for information, he'll warn them to be careful in how they go about getting it, ie; don't let Loki know you're after it, for two reasons: Loki's own abilities, and the fact that Loki is very much capable of turning him against them should he so desire to, and he'll have no choice but to follow through in fighting them. Unfortunately, he'll not reveal the second reason without hard pressing, unless Loki's already revealed the fact he controls the man, in which case the issue is rendered a moot point.
I'll list Gold's main abilities below for easy plot reference, and likely Loki will also list his own abilities to help Aqua & Dante figure out a way to somehow work out a plan to regain possession of the dagger from the trickster god.

DANTE YESno subject
AND POSSIBLY HILARIOUSLYno subject
Offensive:
Tossing people about via telekinesis; shoving them away, holding them in one place for a limited time period (he can and has nearly drowned someone with telekinesis before in canon)
Freezing people in place/time, severity varies; they can just be frozen and completely aware but incapable of moving, or they can be frozen and completely unaware of anything until unfrozen)
Fireballs; yes the man can literally summon a handful of fire as easily as breathing and throw it at a target.
Transfiguration; basically he can turn people into animals or plants, the latter I suspect might be lethal. He can also turn people into inanimate things which I suspect is very lethal.
Literal Heart Removal/Enchanting: The process of literally ripping out a heart without killing the person or creature it belongs to, thus enchanting it. Holding a heart means you control who or what it belongs to and can make them do just about anything. Squeezing the heart or crushing it will either hurt or kill the person/creature the heart is from.
Defensive:
Barriers/Wards; He's already shown his penchant for this here, in the forest barrier, and the barrier on the library during the monster swarm previously. His shop is warded to keep people out of things he desires to keep hidden as well.
Healing; He's capable of healing anything from minor injuries to severed limbs.
Misc:
Teleporting; The man can literally vanish from one location to reappear in another within almost the blink of an eye. Due to my game nerf; fortunately he can only teleport to locations he's already been to at least once.
Some Side Notes For Loki
He can be injured, but his armor deflects most things. There are weak spots particularly on the right side and around the shoulders. The fun thing about injuring him is that his magic will automatically try to heal which means he has spilt attention before using it to fight, and keeping himself in working order. Injure him enough and he will try to bargain his way out of the situation. Loki's main concern is self preservation. He'll give up the dagger long before he ever gives up his life.
He will more than likely use Rumpel against Aqua or Dante if he discovers that he can command the Dark One just by holding the dagger before then.
Uh. What else. . .
Oh! And if you have any questions on how his powers work don't hesitate to ask. I've tried to engineer them in a way that is realistic instead of god-like XD but he is still quite powerful himself. We'll see how that goes.
wow okay it is five in the morning if I don't make sense I am sorry
Dante won't be aiming to kill Loki, though he has experience with battling and killing beings with god-like power unless Loki is actively trying to destroy their little home or something equally wicked along those lines he'd be much more open to just trouncing him around a little bit until he gave up the dagger. He's just making good on his end of a debt, after all, not there to save the world.
In all honesty unless given no other choice Dante would be making an effort not to kill Loki. Again, there needs to be a damned good reason to go out of his way to do something like that. He's a devil hunter, not an assassin. That's not to say he's going to be gentle.
Of course using Gold against them will not be appreciated so he may start being a little more nasty when that happens 8D.
Sadly I'm not familiar with Loki's canon too much sob but I'm sure we can make this work! Dante can take a hell (hurr hurr) of a beating so this should be very interesting.
Re: wow okay it is five in the morning if I don't make sense I am sorry
I don't think Loki will try destroying the town because he has no interest in ruining a second chance at life by becoming a fugitive here. That being said, he may antagonize a few people once he figures out how the dagger actually works. I'm up for Dante not. . killing him since I'm not sure it will get that bad. I don't mind Loki sustaining any injuries from the conflict however.

Besides it's been a while since he's had anyone really fun to play with 8D.

If you need me to go more in-depth about any details in the abilities section I'd be more than happy to tl;dr about them. :3

Unless he's just being an oblivious buffoon I mean that is pretty much the case most of the time. Over confident doofus.
Ehh let's see. Magically enhanced bullets, he has all of his devil arms and right now he still has Yamato (vergil is going to kill him) so there is that. Also among his various styles is Trickster (you might like that one Loki) which gives him really annoying short range teleports. He's designed for fighting, since he's had to do it since he was young just to survive, so he's got a pretty nasty arsenal at his disposal.

I kind of cackled at him being able to do short range teleports like a Trickster.
Stop stealing Loki's thunderLoki's emphasis with his fighting style is illusion so that should go swimmingly considering Dante has the same amount of perception as Loki does.He will be done so quickly just like :| no get out.
As for that last bit about exuding magic Loki will definitely notice. How much magic will depend on how seriously he takes Dante's threats. Luckily he isn't stupid enough to antagonize someone if he doesn't think he'll have the upper hand.

So many of his stuff hints at mister Trickster god it's true the thief. This is bound to be a bunch of hilarious trolling each other until they get around to playing more serious. It's pretty easy to underestimate Dante at first. In canon it happens quite often, since he's half-human I imagine it's not quite as openly potent at all times? But I mean Nero picked up on him right away so it's also possible demons are just over-confident jerks who don't think a crummy half-breed could best them.
And then he beats up the king of the underworld what then.

Look Loki will sign something if it comes down to it just stop.XDD I am so prepared for the trolling. Just let me know whenever you want to throw these two at each other and we can thread it out, see where it goes. :3PFFFT. I feel like Dante deserves a 'turn down for what' gif because of that. People and their egos man.

NEVER you'll have to fight him for itman it will be glorious. Sorry Loki maybe once you've come off your sulk and power trip he'll have a coffee with you. I think Miri wanted to let him have it for a while? So I am not sure on that front! And darn right he does. Look he's already dressed for it.

Watch Gold get dragged into the middle of it, much to his aggravation.

Side notes for Rumpelstiltskin
Unless ordered to use lethal force and attack directly he'll try to keep himself from getting involved or failing that try to keep from hurting anyone too badly.

Likely late Oct/early Nov, he'll be departing the city to go on an exploring trip around the coasts lines. If Jane wants to go with him on that trip she's welcome to, though there will be one cavern he'll be exploring solo.

Side notes? Side notes.

So anybody who knows KH knows that Aqua is a Keyblade Master, she's shown the Mark of Mastery and became inheritor of her Masters Keyblade and the world they protected. That in itself says she's pretty freakin' powerful but on top of that, she hasn't stopped training herself in the time she's been in Ruby City. Since her arrival she's mastered the ability to freeze people solid (used once only so far and on Ansem/Riku back on the LJ comms) and how to shift the earth like Xehanort did in the Keyblade Graceyard.
She'll also have her Keyblade and Keyblade Armor with protects her from a hell of a lot but isn't invincible.
This... is not the method she'll try to employ though. Straight forward doesn't seem like the best tactic and she'll realize that.
