November Test Drive!

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Beach: You can almost forget you're trapped, in a place like this...
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. The Forest: Not a great place to be caught alone, but are you alone?
8. Wildcard: Pick anything from our list!
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
Bringing up sore spots...
Whoops. Lloyd, master of tact.
"Never the less that leads to more pressing questions. Where is this, and how is it we both find ourselves here?" Back on track. "Considering our final parting I have to wonder did you succeed in bringing down Melbu Frahma?"
After everything, even Albert's less than friendly reception, his concern still remained where it always had: the fate of their world. Utopia it wasn't, but he'd never sought its destruction either.
Albert eases up on the guilt trip.
Awww thanks Al
He didn't know anymore. The plan was Diaz's, after all, he was simply the instrument to make the plan come to fruition. Lloyd turned his attention back to the king. "Beyond is a small town, though I do not recognize the architecture. The closest I can assume is human, but beyond that I do not know."
Do spirits build towns, he wondered?
The matter at hand
Easier than not talking about old wounds
"The same as you," He nodded toward the tracks. "Aboard the strange mechanical construct. Beyond that, I have scouted a small fraction of the town. Most buildings appear residential, though overall it is quiet. Not empty, there are others here, but I have not yet approached them."
As a Wingly he tended to be somewhat wary and distant toward humans.
Albert fails to nerd a solution
If Albert fails then they're really in deep trouble
He was much better with people.
Albert has nerd worries
Understandable nerd worries
Somehow?
"At some point someone here spoke our language, with luck they will still remain. As for the rest we will not know the answers until we seek them ourselves." Again a habit he was accustomed to. Albert debating with himself noisily, usually it was Noish in charge of this sort of thing, but that didn't mean Lloyd hadn't overheard.
Well....there's a map. That's something...
Many useful things abound!
"From these notices I think it is safe to assume that this is not a singular occurrence here. Even if the language is... strange." Master of putting things mildly: Lloyd the Wingly.
He'll work it through eventually.
He is industrious
Albert is so stressed right now
Albert took another look at the map before turning to follow Lloyd.
"Where do you suggest we venture first then?"
Who can blame him?
"I do not know what a po-lice is, nor can I imagine what use we would have for a clinic or a park at this time. That leaves us with the clock tower, and obelisk."
Which were near enough to each other they didn't really need to choose which to visit first.
*side eye*
What :3 not up to nothin'
You have to admit, Albert, he was good at gathering information.
Don't trust that smile at. all.
"Despite the fact that we seem to both find ourselves in a situation that neither of us are familiar with, I still have quite a good reason, I think, to be more than a little wary of following your lead."
It's totally cool boss nothing to see here
What, precisely, he meant by that was up for interpretation. However, since Albert was lingering too long for his tastes Lloyd simply turned and began to stride away again. He had an obelisk and a clock tower to investigate, Albert was welcome to come if he so desired. No one was forcing him.
