I've been here for over a year, unfortunately, so I can say most of these things with certainty.

Then at least I won't have to worry about maintaining my form here without a Master.

[With his goal in an entirely different WORLD, though, it hardly seems worth it. Still, he must be here for a reason, and he trusts Saber well enough. He knows that both she and her Master wouldn't stoop to trickery to draw him out.

(Well, her Master in the Fifth War, anyway.)]

I should be there shortly. Would it be possible to meet outside the station?

[There are enough policemen on staff for her to leave her desk, after all. She is outside the station promptly, decked in the new uniform, waiting for this mysterious Archer to arrive.]

[He touches down in what is admittedly an overdramatic fluttering of red cape, but what can you do, he's an anime. He's armored, of course, but unarmed. A courtesy.]

Saber. Or would you rather I call you Pendragon, in this city?

It's of little importance. I've become used to the latter, but I will still answer to the former.

[Whatever Archer prefers. She seems nonplussed by his entrance, but offers a shallow bow nonetheless.]

[She motions for him to follow her to the street; she has learned by now that speaking in person, and while mobile, permits less listening in.]

[He nods and follows, mapping the city silently as he goes.]

You've been here an entire year. Is there anything I should know, other than that the Grail does not exist here and the city itself has its objectives? You mentioned other magi.

Yes-- it is important to note that any magi from any iteration of the Grail war may appear here without warning. As I mentioned, Tohsaka Rin was once here, as was Lord El-Melloi I-- a Mage from before your time, likely.

[She watches him now, because his reaction to the next bit is important.]

At present, Lord El-Melloi II, Waver, is here, along with Kotomine Kirei.

["Waver" doesn't get much of a reaction, but Kirei--]

That fake priest is here?

[He's not dismayed so much as surprised.]

[She hasn't heard anyone refer to him as such before.]

He... is, and once was here before, but came back from a different point in time. It would seem the fourth war has only just started for him.

[Also, don't worry about that fake priest, Saber. It's just something Rin calls him all the time.]

[She turns her head to him in a snap, eyes wide.]

He's ill-suited to be a Master, and seems to have stumbled into the war completely by chance. But however accidentally the summoning was done, he is undoubtedly your Master as Rin is mine.

...I suppose this only gives merit to Waver's claims.

[Ugh. Uuugh.

There's nothing inside of her that wants this to be real, but she can't deny it. Archer has no reason to lie to her.]

Is he... Emiya Kiritsugu's son?

Yes. In ideology, if not in blood. From what I understand, the magus raised him after the fire in Fuyuki ten years ago.

[To say Arturia looks troubled is a bit of an understatement.

Still, her troubles aren't Archer's to bear, so she shakes her head and crosses her arms.]

...I see. Then, I'm sure my future will be.. interesting, to say the least.

Yes, he did. As... my master.

[She's hesitant to say so. Irisviel was always more of a master than Kiritsugu was, but it was untrue to say Kiritsugu did not act as her master.]
