November Test Drive!

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Beach: You can almost forget you're trapped, in a place like this...
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. The Forest: Not a great place to be caught alone, but are you alone?
8. Wildcard: Pick anything from our list!
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

[Adachi sighs, wistfully.]
It's been months since I had a home cooked meal!

[ Shirou shrugs, giving a nonchalant grin in reply. It's not that he's a good cook, but he does pretty well if he can say so himself. But he doesn't like to gloat, so he refrains from doing so. ]
I don't always do the cooking-- but here, I suppose you can say I do.
[ ...
But he kind of feels guilty buying portions for himself when he usually eats with more people. ]
Do you want to come over? It's kind of lonely living by myself and I wouldn't mind some company for dinner.
no subject
[And lazy. So lazy. He's more than willing to admit to his failings, so that people will help him out and give him food.]
Really?! Do you mean it? Well, if you don't mind...!
[He brightens, although his primary reason for speaking to Shirou in the first place was the hope that he might be able to mooch some decent food.]
There's hardly any Japanese food here. I can't remember the last time I had sushi!
no subject
[ He usually doesn't invite guys to his
House of Haremplace, but it is kind of lonely. Besides, if things come to worse, he can handle it on his own.No big deal. ]
no subject
[He's actually pretty picky.
And yeah, what could go wrong? It's not like he's a murderer or anything!
But really, he has no ulterior motive beyond sushi.]
no subject
[ He actually has to think about this carefully as he taps his chin inquisitively, staring at the food choices along with what's actually good. ]
Yeah, I guess that works. I can make that along with miso and rice, so it should be fine. I'll get some sauces too just in case, since I still need to stock on those.

[Adachi smiles; he's in a super good mood now, as someone's going to feed him. Being in prison has meant months of the absolute worst food! At least when he had to cook for himself, he could give his food some flavor, even if he didn't have much money.]
I like really strong miso soup, how about you? What do you put in yours?
no subject
I actually make a variety, since it's best to mix things up every day then keep the same miso soup. I usually make spinach, radish, and carrot miso soup, but I can pretty much put anything in it.
[ Shirou's not that picky unless it's just straight up bad or something that just outright doesn't belong in a certain dish. You know, the usual. ]
no subject
Ah, right, that way you won't get bored! Smart thinking. That sounds good... How about negi and tofu? Do you like that, too? It's a classic!
[Adachi's just going to make suggestions now, because he is a backseat cook.]
no subject
[ Emiya Shirou: One of the easiest protagonists to get along with. Unsurprisingly. ]
no subject
[Adachi's protagonist actually isn't that hard to get along with, and he gave him food, but Adachi likes to complain. Maybe the real problem is Adachi. Nonetheless, the offer of sushi is enough to get Adachi to follow Shirou to the next store.]
Okay, sounds good to me. I could—carry something, or something, if you want.
[See, he's kind of offering to help, even though this is an offer of only the bare minimum!]
no subject
[ He gives a nonchalant shrug as he speaks, holding the bag of fish in his right arm. Normally, he'd reject the offer, but due to the state of his left arm... ]
Yeah, that'd be great. You can carry the rest of the ingredients once I buy them.
[ Shirou's already carrying two bags in his right arm, after all. He could probably carry more than just that, but... It would be pretty rude to say no to a kind offer, especially since he's not buying as much as he usually has to. ]
no subject
[Or something. Really, he just likes to eat, which is why he knows something about food. He knows what he likes.]
No problem!
[He'd have no problem with his offer being rejected, either. He'd mostly made it in order to establish himself as the kind of person who helps and is deserving of being fed. Besides, carrying a few things is no big deal, compared to getting a home cooked meal for the first time in months.]
Oh yeah. I'm Adachi Tohru. Nice to meet you!
[Now that food has been established, introductions can commence!]
