November Test Drive!

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Beach: You can almost forget you're trapped, in a place like this...
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. The Forest: Not a great place to be caught alone, but are you alone?
8. Wildcard: Pick anything from our list!
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

Still something of a grimace comes briefly before he can control it. He covers by taking another drink of his coffee, letting his eyes remain closed for a few more seconds before opening them again. He's not forgotten the Prophecy, but he's decided not to let it rule his actions from here on out.]
I've no problems with one of them, but the second, the one who likes to change genders like we change clothes at times, him I don't much care for.

Loki's magic has some similar traits to yours. He can manipulate images like your glamour. Make anyone look like anyone. But I'll certainly keep my eyes open for him. Or her. Whichever way he wants to make himself known.
no subject
He drains his coffee, pouring himself another cup before moving to finally seat himself at the table and grabbing a cookie from the tin to eat.]
What questions do you have about the city? I'll answer what I can.

What about...Is there anyone else in the city I might know? What do other people do to pass the time? I doubt everyone has a pawn shop. How long have you been here and have people been here longer than that?
And why is Jane Foster your cleaner?
no subject
I'm not sure. We have some Robins.. and I think someone called...Batman? Oh, we also have a Tony Stark, and a Bruce Banner...oh and I can't forget Captain America.
[Yes, he is fairly grinning by the time he finishes that list.]
People tend to do whatever they like, some hunt, some run other types of shops, some explore, some read books in the library. I think there's a game club or something hereabouts now, started by Mr. Nygma. I've been here around nine months now...and some have been here for a few years.
As for Jane...well, we made a deal. She cleans for me once a week and I provided her with some very valuable things she decided to fix something of hers.

That's so cool. [He chuckles at the confusion over Batman but skipped over it to ask a slightly more important question.] Don't suppose you've seen a very large and very green...You'd probably call it an ogre. A green ogre with purple pants.
[He nods at the other answers, rolling his eyes once Gold mentioned Jane again.] Of course you made a deal. And I bet it didn't have an end date either, did it?
no subject
[Not that he was all that willing himself to see her cease coming over. He'd gotten rather use to her company once a week and likely would end up missing her and trying to make another deal to get her to return. Given the scarcity of customers, it tended to get rather lonely with just Gloria for company day in and out.]
I might have....during some of the..ah...nastier events that have occurred in the past months. Well Green ogre anyway..not sure what color pants it was wearing.
no subject
That's Hulk. Bruce Banner's alter ego. And Tony Stark is Iron Man. Have you seen a flying metal suit around? This place didn't look that technologically advanced as we walked through it.

This place is almost like a strange mix of Storybrooke and the Enchanted Forest in some ways. Only considerably more dangerous and indefinitely more annoying and mysterious. Also there's no currency here, unless the shop keeper asks for barter in payment, everything you see in the shops is free for you to take as you please.
[He still holds with the fact that they're paying for these 'free' things with their own freedom, but he'll keep that particular thought to himself.]
no subject
[He nods again at the information. Interested how the place works but figuring magic is just the easiest explanation and not to think too much about it.]
All magic comes with a price. [He mutters. Then another thought occurs to him.] With all these people from different times and different lands, there must be different types of magic as well. Not just the type we know and you use. Right?
