hiatus reminder + PLAYER PLOT
Hey everyone!
Just a reminder that I am going on hiatus now! You can still contact me until the 15th, but after that, I will be off the grid, little to no access to a computer for a long length of time.
There are museums to run through and squee over.
But anyways, as I mentioned in a previous OOC Post (as seen here), I have a plot for when Jane comes back! Which will be outlined and a bit more fleshed out in the cut below!

THE PLOT
Jane gets her canon update—but she comes back after she gets possessed by the aether and learns what it is, but before Thor and Loki team up to get it out of her.
WHAT IS THE AETHER?
It is evil, glowing red Kool-Aid that is older than the universe and is very powerful. It’s also been called an Infinity Stone and is theorized to be the one ruling over “Reality”. It makes sense, because the Dark Elves tried to use it to convert everything into dark matter, a form of matter that is still under debate in the scientific community. It would explain a lot of things in our universe, but would create more questions if it doesn’t really exist.
WHAT WILL BE HAPPENING
Jane will come back from the catacombs on October 1, 2016.
She will be possessed by the aether and be freaking out. Anyone who approaches her might get blasted, because it will perceive them as a threat to itself and its host (Jane). There will be a post for initial reactions to that and getting her home somehow.
Until someone figures out a way to get it out of her and safely contain it somewhere, it will slowly eat at her life force, resulting in the following symptoms:
Fatigue, fainting spells
Visions of destruction and other hallucinations
People getting thrown around by evil Kool-Aid
Eventual death and someone else getting possessed
HOW WILL WE DEFEAT THIS THING?
In the movie, Thor and Loki trick the Dark Elves, who have some power over the aether, to get it out of Jane to destroy it and save her life. Here … we don’t have that option. So, after thinking for a while and talking to some of you about it, I have decided to give everyone a chance to interact with the aether or try to defeat it in a log. There are a lot of people with magical powers and artifacts, so why not? It will be interesting!
However, the one who will be succeeding in getting it out of her will be Diarmuid, because while the aether is not pure magic or pure science, it’s enough of a magical kind of thing that his spear will be able to disrupt its usual behaviors and force it out of her. That will be in a separate thread, no worries!
Then, either an NPC or a fellow player will be sealing it away somehow. I have not gotten word from any of the mods regarding this, but I will have my phone on me, so I can do a quick email check and update when I have access to wifi!
And then, everything will calm down again.
Though Jane will be sick for a while! Gotta recover from being used by a pre-universe parasitic entity.

I figure a week is enough time to have fun with this plot, and of course, back dating and all other methods of play are totally fine!

As for Yuuta, he will just be going back home for two weeks and panic upon his return, because oh my god, Amelia does not need any more people disappearing on her!
