Locations

1.TRAIN STATION - The place where everyone gets dumped off at. Your first view of Ruby City, complete with informational posters telling you all about where you've ended up.
2. THE BEACH - Lovely year-round, though in the winter months, you're probably not likely to dip your toes in.
3. THE BLACK STALLION - A rather quaint bar. Supposedly, the burgers are great, but you don't see anyone immediately who's willing to serve you. Maybe you're meant to get it yourself.
4. THE OBELISK - The tall monolith in the center of the city marks the gathering place of many events, though right now it seems to be cold and dark.
5. THE CLOCKTOWER - Offering an impressive view of the city, several residents come here to clear their heads, if they don't mind braving the narrow staircase.
6. THE COFFEE JOINT - the front windows are warm and welcoming, and it seems there's always someone friendly enough to fix you a cup when you wander through.
7. THE CATACOMBS - Intrepid, aren't you? Those weird holes may beg exploring, but go too deep and you're going to be in a lot of trouble, considering the viciousness of the creatures held within.
8. THE CITY STREETS - All told, Ruby City is a lovely place, once you get past the fact that several of the buildings look derelict and on the verge of falling down. There's no harm in doing a little sightseeing.
9. THE PARK - You thought it'd be a lovely stroll, but the park is anything but friendly, if those approaching wolf-like creatures are any indication.
10. CHOOSE YOUR OWN - Don't like what we've come up with? Feel like picking your own place? There's a whole host of lovely locations to choose from in the City.

Scenarios

1. NEW ARRIVAL - Step off that train, walk down the street. People usually latch on to newcomers to try and help them out. Even if you look shy, the other residents probably won't be!
2. WATCH TALK - Feeling lost? Disoriented? Don't worry, everyone feels that way on their first day. Fortunately - if the signs at the station are to believed - the watch in your pocket can be used to talk to whoever else might be here.
3. BAD WEATHER - Aw, man. Whether it's snow, or rain, or just plain cold, today was definitely the wrong day to get dumped off in a City in the middle of nowhere.
4. A RUN-IN - Maybe you weren't watching. Maybe they weren't. Either way, you just bumped into someone. Perhaps apologies are in order?
5. HELP, IT HURTS - Clumsy, aren't you? Perhaps wherever the train brought you from wasn't so friendly, or you just tripped and twisted your ankle. Either way, you're in a bit of pain. Hopefully someone will notice your booboos and help patch you up.
6. HUNGRY - It isn't very obvious sometimes that restaurants are what they are, especially in a place like Ruby City. Where can a person go to get a bite to eat around here?
7. MISTAKEN IDENTITY - Hey, there's someone you know! --Or maybe not.
8. BEING FOLLOWED - Maybe you're just being paranoid, or maybe you've got a reason to be afraid. Whatever it is, it feels like there's eyes on you...
9. EVENTS - Feel free to look through our event tag!
10. CHOOSE YOUR OWN - Don't like any of these ideas? Feel free to come up with your own!

"Or they'll lock you up or worse." Naomi didn't know what their captors were like - but she doesn't feel like they'd be particularly nice given the whole kidnapping business. Tucking a lock of blonde hair behind her ear she watches the woman stride down the arm, one cheek puffing out as she remains just above her line of vision. Of course.

"Y'know it's not really nice to make someone have to shout up at you to have a conversation!" Not that she seemed particularly nice. "C'mon down from there!"

She vanished, and appeared behind her, smirking.

"They can attempt to lock me up."

She vanished and reappeared where she had been. "And I am in no way nice. Nice people finish dead. Are you a nice person?"

She spins around just in time to see the woman vanish again. An irritated huff escapes her as she looks back to where hse back. "So you can teleport, big deal. I knew a creep who could travel through an reflective surface."

He was ten times more terrifying.

Naomi does, however, take a small step the gem on the back of her ungloved hand glowing softly. "I'm a nice person! I'm also the person who won't l-let you be a jerk!"

The little stumble makes her curse. How did people act so brave all the time in the fact of danger?

"Wont let me b...be a j..jerk?" she mocked, laughing. "So... good and stupid?" she asked, smirking a bit. "So very much the type to finish dead, then?" she asked, seeming amused.

If only Hayate was here... to see what he had created. "Teleporting is just one of my many skills, I assure you..." she smiled. It wasn't pleasant. "Would you like to see?"

Her cheeks go red at the mocking, embarrassment curling in her chest. That embarrassment soon melts into fear at the 'finish dead' question. There's another small involuntary step back.

God this was a right mess she'd gotten herself into. She'd tried to act tough but in the end she wasn't sure what to do. In theory she could try trapping the woman in a shield, but she could teleport so it would probably be pointless. That didn't leave her too many options.

What would Kou do if he was here? What would Tai do?

Tai would stand and fight, so she dug her heels metaphorically into the ground.

"I have a feelin' even if I said no you'd show me!" She raised her voice a little, frowning. "You look like a big, fat show-off!"

Kou would probably taunt.

She smirked. "Oh that I am," she said. "But if I do.. you might cut and run. You do seem the cowardly type. And there is hardly any fun killing someone who wont stand still for it."

She laughed. "Of course, you said you were going to stop me..." she teleported right in front of her, reaching a long sharp nail towards the other girl's face, attempting to "caress" it with the cutting edge. "How are you going to do that and flee in terror at the same time?" she mocked.

Naomi let's out a surprised noise when the woman appears in front of her and she flings her hand up on pure instinct when the sharp nail moves to caress her cheek. As she does so a stalagmite seemingly made out of a teal crystal shoots out of the ground, parrying the long nail away. Naomi takes another quick step back, her right foot slipping back into a defensive stance that she'd seen her brother use.

"Yeah, 'm scared but that doesn't mean 'm gonna run."

She hissed slightly as the stone knocked her hand away, but she smiled and vanished, reappearing at the tip of it, as if balanced there. Being able to levitate and fly when no one knew you could made somethings just look epic.

"You're right," she taunted. "Clearly you're too scared to run. Or too slow. You won't get far, staggering back a step at a time every time something spooks you."

Okay that was so not fair. So not fair! She had no right to look so cool doing that.

"Oh I donno," her cheeks gave a little puff as she tugged her other glove off, remaining in the defensive stance. "At least 'm not teleporting every five seconds! Are you too scared to stand still?"

"Given that every move you have made has been to get further from me? I think you are asking that of the wrong person," she said, laughing. Quite amusing, this one.

"Don'tcha know the difference between running and defense?" Plus she'd only taken maybe a couple steps away... But Naomi doesn't want to give the woman the pleasure of admitting she was partially right.

"I do," she said, amused. "Do you?"

"Guess we're gonna fine out, huh?" She tries to smile like Kou would, but it probably comes off shaky. Then she focuses, remembering everything she'd learned as she draws her hand to her chest. She takes another breath before flinging her hand torward at the woman, more crystals all but materializing from the air to fly in the woman's direction.

She vanished, reappearing atop her monster's head.

"Sparkly stones. Is that all you have to throw at me?" she laughed. "I'll teach you that Diamonds are NOT a girl's best friend. Pain is!"

The Demon Larve launched long gelatinous limbs at her, limbs that would stat draining Leafe - energy - if they touched.
