1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.


2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?


3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!


4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.


5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

Scenarios

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.


2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.


3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

Vergil | Devil May Cry

A, Clocktower
[Vergil leans against the wall, first spending several hours looking out at the city. He needs to take in the layout, and simply watch the people, before walking among them. It also seemed the best place to be alone, even the library wasn't quiet enough and there had been a surprising number of people in it. Who else would climb to the top of a tower that serves no real purpose other than its clock.]

B, streets
[Who gives no shits that the rain is practically a monsoon, it's this guy. It's the ideal time for him to come down and venture out, when anyone else should be inside and therefore out of his way. He heads in the direction of the mountains.]

C, Cafe Anglais
[For whatever reason he didn't actually make it very far and has ended up soaked and sitting in the cafe. Likely with a distinct aura of being pissed off, feel very sorry for the waitress. He continuously pushes his hair back, only for it to fall in front of his eyes again, as he hunches over his coffee.]

[Guess who also gives no shits that it's apparently monsoon season? This guy who bears a lot of similarities, minus being older and, you know, wearing a lot of red. And it just so happens he's in the way, on his way back in fact from a little venture.

At first he barely notices, it's hard to see in all this rain, but that blue and white shock of hair and just a feeling of something is all to familiar. He stops, looks up, and just sort of freezes.

Most people would look stunned, surprised even, Dante is too surprised to even manage that. He's unreadable.

The complete lack of sass might be telling though.]

[Similarly, until he nearly walks into the other, he only notices that someone is in his way.]

Watch it.

[As he pushes his hair out of his eyes to glare, the realisation dawns on him.

Although that really doesn't change his actions any. In fact, if anything, Vergil has all the more reason to glare.]

[Pleasant as usual. Although he should probably be glad Vergil's first instinct wasn't to just slice him up like a tomato.

Not that that wouldn't be incredibly nostalgic.]

[Just gonna sass the sky don't mind him. He's having some difficulties dealing with this. What with Vergil being quite dead last he knew.]

I would say it's good to see some things never change, but in the case of your lunacy, it really isn't.

[I've never had a post 1 Vergil it's bound to be something interesting. Dante's not sure how he feels about this.]

[He turns away. Truthfully, he's glad for it, in some ways. Being released from that state, forced to act against his own will. But he doesn't want to have to admit as much.]

[It was typical, expected with them. They really weren't good at saying what they mean or meaning what they say. At least Dante wasn't, Vergil just didn't say much at all.

He just watches for a few moments, uncomfortable. Very little could unsettle Dante this badly, but, well... he's just literally seen a ghost and it's the one ghost he never thought he'd see again.

It came as a surprise too late, before he realized entirely what he was doing he'd closed the distance and wrapped his arms around Vergil's shoulders, giving him a tight hug. It didn't last long, just a brief moment before he lets go and steps away like he'd done nothing at all.

It's probably a good thing it's raining.]

[While he doesn't react, it also means he doesn't put a stop to the obvious display of affection. Something he would normally avoid at any cost. At this point does appearing to have no emotion prove anything? He's already failed in reaching Sparda's strength, and now even Dante has passed him. Or is it another chance to try aagain? He can't very well do anything until he's decided which it is.]

[TOO LATE YOU CAN'T STOP HIM. He just huffs indignantly, as much as it's raining it's not like anyone can tell the difference. Though, to be honest, he's surprised he didn't end up with a sword in his gut. Maybe they've both calmed down a bit at this stage.]
