Hi Ruby City! My name's Marion and I'm brand spanking new to this comm, and of course I had to make things hard on myself by apping a ridiculously obscure book character, but there you are.

This is Bobby Lassiter! She's a ten year old girl from Depression-era California who travels with her father as a magician's assistant. Also her best friend is a werehorse. And she's pretending to be a boy for complex reasons.

I am only a little sorry for how weird this book is.
