Over the past few months, we’ve had a variety of events- the April Fool’s clothes swap, the age event, Valentine’s Day, and so on. We are due to have another event, and it will more or less fall within the same lines of our previous events, in that there will be plenty of potential for all sorts of shenanigans.
From 15-30 May, we will be having a power and abilities swap event. A plotting post will be up this weekend with more details, but for now we need to know which characters will be participating in the event and what powers/abilities are up for grabs. It’s at your discretion to decide what your character will give up- be it intelligence, the ability to use magic, or anything else. We expect there to be some kind of give-and-take as we have plenty of characters in game who are “normal.” It’s possible for an ordinary human to receive another character’s power, while that one finds himself or herself powerless. Ultimately, this will depend upon how many characters there are in the pool.
The power/ability swaps will be done at random to garner new and diverse CR, but we will leave the option open for specific swaps between characters if both players want it. Please be sure to also mention any powers you don’t want your character to receive.
Note that this is a two-week event. We know this is a busy time of year for everyone in school, so we want there to be plenty of time for everyone to participate and explore all the possibilities.
Comments will be screened and the official swaps will be announced with the plotting post this weekend.
