Hey guys, Nicole here with Lily Evans (later Lily Potter, aka Harry's mum) from the Harry Potter series. I was here a ways back with Cosette from Les Miserables, and though it took me a little bit, I'm excited to finally be back in game. ouo

Though she's way more famous after her death, I'm taking Lily from Summer 1977, when she's still a 17 year old student at Hogwarts who thinks James Potter is a arrogant toerag and that hair ruffling thing is not even remotely attractive. clearly. so he should stop it. Most obviously she's a witch, but she's muggle born so she's not completely out of touch. You know, for someone from the 1970s. She's pretty friendly and nice, but she can be a little opinionated at points, so expect her to call you out if you rub her the wrong way. Her application is in her journal if you feel like taking a peek at it.

Time management wise I'm working full time at an internship right now while balancing grad school, but I try to be timely with tags; prod me with a stick if you're ever waiting on me for something. I'm on East Coast time but I'm also not so secretly an 80 year old woman in a 21 year old's body, so I usually crash pretty early at night.

Hi guys! Second here, and as you may notice just below me, Dave Strider has returned to Ruby City. This particular brand of Dave has been here before (he left around December) and is not exactly thrilled to be back for round two.
For those of you unfamiliar with Homestuck, Dave's a really chill guy who lays down sick beats and phat rhymes and is basically a huge freaking loser awesome. He's really snarky and has a bad habit to spend hours and hours rambling on pointless metaphors that nobody cares about.

I look forward to tagging all of you! Dave's pretty social, and I've missed having a social kid in RC. =3

Full Weather Report | Threat Report

It's been warm and dry with scattered thunder storms for the past few weeks, still with no real change in the weather. The humidity does nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of the clouds of small, biting insects that can be found in the park and.. everywhere else. Though the thunder storms have been fairly mild, they're still perhaps uncomfortably frequent for anyone who doesn't enjoy them.

City News

With the end of the wishing event, the large well abruptly disappeared from the centre of the city, replaced by the familiar ruby obelisk. Not to worry, though, it's only relocated to the edge of the woods inside the park, the writing still clear on top of the boards blocking it up. Anyone who was looking at the well at the moment it disappeared will not be able to recall seeing it move, only that it was there one moment and then gone the next, with the only evidence of something happening a faint ringing sound in the air.

It's almost August and the NPCs have been fairly quiet for a while, watching (as they are wont to do) without making any kind of appearance.

However, peculiar things are happening in the city itself. As a shadow of things to come, the city's residents might catch the brief scent of the ocean on the wind or find that certain things around the city have moved - a tree, a streetlamp - to a slightly different location. The more magical of the creatures around the city, fairies and the various nature spirits (dryads, naiads, etc) in particular, seem to be disturbed by something as of yet undetectable by the city residents but if asked, they will only be able to answer that they feel a shift in the air.

The wishing event has drawn to a close. Anything that was gained during this time is yours to keep!

Strange things will begin to happen in the city over the course of the next two to three weeks, making it appear as if the power holding the place together is starting to subtly fracture. This is the lead-up to the re-design of the city layout and maps of both inside and outside of the city which we will be rolling out in August! We're very excited about it and hope that it will offer all of you a wider range of things to throw your characters into, as well as giving more cohesion to the game on the whole.

The activity check will be going up on August 5th. If you're going to be on hiatus during this time, please note that you are not exempt unless you have been on hiatus for two weeks within the checking period! Hey I'm Arden! I'm back, as promised, this time with a relatively new muse: James Potter from that book series. Forgot what it's called now. For any who remember I played Canada, Dug, and Grantaire here once upon a time (last year).

He's not exactly "dad to the wizard jesus" material at his current canonpoint, more like just another cocky teenager with hair that looks sexy pushed back. Enjoy that one, RC. He's besties with Remus and Sirius, who have been here a while and ARE A LOT OLDER....

Hello! My name is Tash and I'm completely new here to Ruby City. With me today I bring Adrian Andrews from Ace Attorney to join the wonderful cast you've got going here!

Unlike many other commonly played Ace Attorney characters, Adrian here is neither a lawyer or a villain (nor both, as often frequently happens in this silly series too). She's just a side character - a showbiz manager - who got swept up in a series of circumstances she felt were beyond her control.

I'm taking her from just after the second game, so she's just been arrested for tampering with a crime scene but it got her what she wanted in the end! I'm very excited to play a character who wants nothing more than a fresh start in a panfandom RP, let's put it like that. Her application is in her journal if you're interested in reading more, but I will warn that it contains talk of death and suicide.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting into things; I'm working a few weird shifts this week so it might take a day or two, however (and I still need to finish setting up her journal). I also live in Australia (GMT + 10) so my sense of days is probably a bit different from most of yours 8) I'm sure I'll have a great time here!
