[She swallows the lump in her throat, her eyes a bit wider.

...for the most part. {Hey she started this - she'll end it. She lifts her chin with an air of arrogance.}

[Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Shaky breath out.

A moment's hesitation. That's all this was. She felt like it was taking forever to decide. Just do it. Take a chance.

Letting out a slow and steadier breath, she leans forward, placing a quick kiss on her lips before pulling back. She wasn't going to overstay her welcome any time soon.]

{Let's be honest, Lightning probably hasn't been kissed before. Or much before. Who would dare take the chance?

Congratulations Fang - you are clearly in the 1% of the population anywhere.

Yet there's not much Fang has to worry about. The kiss causes the Sergeant to blink and blush a pink that almost matches her hair. She reaches up to touch her lips before trying to form words.}

[She bites her lip, furrowing her brows up with worry.]

Yeah...I-I noticed. Are...I probably shouldn't have-

{She presses a finger to Fang's lips and leans in to kiss her back, her eyes remaining open and fixed on Fang's face.}

[She definitely would have to find out who made mistletoe, and personally give them a hug. She was pretty sure her heart was making music for the whole place.]

{Mistletoe isn't all that bad in her opinion either. Lightning pulls back and gives her a small, rare, warm grin.}

[She smiles back, looking up before moving out from under the door way finally. Rubbing the back of her neck, she couldn't wipe the grin off her face as she looks away shyly.]
