November Test Drive!

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Beach: You can almost forget you're trapped, in a place like this...
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. The Forest: Not a great place to be caught alone, but are you alone?
8. Wildcard: Pick anything from our list!
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
rin tohsaka. fate/stay night. let the enabling begin.
[ Sitting at the station this eve is a poised young woman without any alarm in her demeanor. Being brought to a foreign city is the least of her concerns as alarming as that may be. No, there were greater problems to resolve first. Despite the weight of shackles around her wrist and the band around the top of her head, Rin's the kind of person who doesn't give up until the last second. The trial had seemed hopeless for her and then the next she opened her eyes on a train. As far as she was aware, criminals were sent to live down below not to an entirely different place. ]
It's rather cozy for a prison, but I suppose it can't be helped. Now where's the warden who will undo my bindings? [ The arm that hosts her crest aches tremendously from being restricted and well, they were unsightly. ]
② CATHEDRAL;
[ This place gives her the creeps. Odd how a building set aside for placing faith in something unseen could do that to a person, but Rin's experiences with church-related matters has always been strained. First the man who raised her, then his successor, and she can't even begin to recall just how long the list of matters that needed to be cleaned up after were. She's not entirely sure what has drawn her here tonight. Is it the day, a religious holiday of some sort that instinctively tugs at her mind or is it something on a greater scale?
Either way, she walks between the pews with her fingers hitting the back wooden panel of each one as she strolls by. ]
③ NETWORK;
Good day to all who hear of this message. [ Rin's in rare form today with a smile that looks mostly real. Maybe it's the effect of springtime flowers that are starting to blossom? ]
Because I've decided that I need the practice, I'll be taking one or two requests at most to create a magical item to help you in your day-to-day living. Alternatively, I could improve on any such item you may already have provided you allow me to study it in advance with full consent. Normally I charge a hefty price for these services as my way of living isn't cheap, but since I have been lacking challenges as of late, I'll lift the fee. The stronger the item, the more fun it'll be.
My credentials are outstanding and both them as well as my feats are too long to list. Please don't waste my time with child's play or idle chatter.
[ And instead of thanking everyone for listening, it's only obvious she blurts out an awkwardly timed: ] You're welcome.

[Okay, not a dignified reaction to seeing his best friend show up in the city, clearly under arrest, but the shock of Rin returning combined with shackles permits a little surprise. Waver races over towards her in a panic.
He knows this place plays on the Second Magic. What the hell had happened with the Association?]
i'm a filthy liar hwo lies BUT I AM GOING TO NAP FOR REAL NOW
Lord El-Melloi? [ Oops she forgot something very important there. ]
What are you doing here-? [ What laws did he break and how did she not hear about it before her own trial? ]
YOU BETTER BE
I guess we're not on first name basis by your point in time. Waver will do, drop the title bullshit.
[It's never made any difference in the city anyway. His eyes return to the shackles, running over them.]
Long story that I'll reveal in a few moments. How the hell do you undo that bullshit on your arms?
crawls back towards this painful thrad
Shackles like this were meant for criminals who were to be imprisoned or executed. Right now, she's still not entirely sure which was her fate. ]
They're unsightly and now that you've seen them yourself... [ She takes a step back from him instinctively. ]
no subject
[Waver doesn't care about unsightly. What he cares about is removing them.]
no subject
If he does approach her unwanted, she can still take him down. Most magi are terrible at close ranged combat and while her hands were bound, she could still use her legs somewhat to her advantage. ]
no subject
Rin. What happened to the Grail back home? Did we destroy it?
no subject
[ 'We'? Isn't that a bit odd to be saying? His name makes her think back on the priest's files regarding the previous Holy Grail War.
Is it possible..?
No, that doesn't seem like it should be, yet everything here added to that end result near flawlessly. How infuriating. She was only now beginning to understand the depths of Second Magic and to use it to explain her current situation seemed like a cheap excuse. ]
no subject
[Waver repeats it incredulous, hands flying over his mouth. Oh, fuck the Second Magic. Fuck it so hard right now.]
We failed?
no subject
So she corrects his mistake. It's the proper thing to do all things considered. ]
The sole responsibility of the swirl of origin was conducted without proper supervision from the Magic Association. Closing it prematurely before an associate could arrive was also my doing.

...Rin?
no subject
The blush fades quickly, leaving her in her usual tempered demeanor. ]
I knew I felt something unpleasant when I approached this church. Your boundary fields are sloppy, if they even exist at all.

no subject
That's sloppy work regardless. I wasn't aware you were such a slouch in your youth, Kirei.
one and walks in late with fuyukibucks
[ He's definitely shocked that she's here-- he knows that's her from sight alone, but she looks a lot different than what he remembers. Maybe it's his memory going bad, or maybe something else entirely, but he finds himself walking to her, slowly, steadily.
Though he still has something on his arm that definitely shouldn't be there any longer. He definitely needs to find out what's going on with her, and to know what kind of Holy Grail War (and Fuyuki) she's from. ]
lmao it's cool, my fault for posting to the old one
[ There's so much wrong with this scene that it makes both her head and heart throb in a way she didn't think possible. Shirou Emiya, the boy she had admired from a distance at first ended up becoming one of her greatest friends--and perished during the final battle of the Fifth Holy Grail War.
Well, perished isn't necessarily the right word to use.
It's more along the lines of his body retired, but the spirit was still holding on. That kind of miracle will take true magic to accommodate and Rin, while she had an idea of how to go about it, was unable to act on it just yet. First came the matter of the trial. ]
Geez, for you to see me like this must be worth at least a chuckle. [ Motioning to her binds with a bit of a smile. ] Emiya-kun.
no subject
[ He speaks honestly as he uses his right hand to scratch the back of his head. Though he feels a little uncomfortable looking at her like that. ]
... Uh, do I have to take those off or do I have to call someone to help?
[ Because if Tohsaka can't take them off, they're probably magical... right? ]
no subject
[ Because if she can't, does he really really think that he can? More important than his ability to remove her bindings: ]
You're alive-! [ Why does she sound a bit more disappointed than she should over that?? ]
no subject
[ But he feels really bad (or is it guilt?) for her nevertheless knowing that she's like that. ]
Yeah, I'm alive. I should be dead, but this place doesn't care. [ He sounds disappointed too, but there's a part of his voice that's definitely frustrated. ]
no subject
How can you sound so upset over being alive-?! I was going to return to Fuyuki City and work on it once the trial was over-!
[ Lifting her arms to shove them towards him. ] Remove these so I can beat some sense into you!
no subject
[ He won't move from his spot, however, so he'll let her do as she pleases, though he lets out a defeated sigh at her own words. ] Besides, you're the one who already said that I can't remove them, right...? I can go and call someone who probably can if you want me to, though.
no subject
If I believe you can remove these--[ Yelling at him as she shakes her hands in front of him. ]--then you should place your faith in me, yes! You should believe in me because I believe in you-!
[ She's awfully optimistic for Rin Tohsaka today. ]
no subject
[ He takes a step back uncomfortably. He would take off her binds if she wasn't going to hurt him afterwards... ]
Besides, you were the one who said earlier that I wouldn't be able to take them off when I first asked. [ Don't think he doesn't remember, because he's been paying attention. ]
no subject
Are you willing to help me or are you going to stand around feeling sorry for yourself?
