August Test Drive!

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

[So he descends back to the streets, and it isn't long before he's wiping rainwater off of his forehead, wishing whoever thought it was a good idea to dump him on a train would have given him an umbrella instead of a pocketwatch. He's lost, confused, and a little on the grumpy side...but hey, this is technically part of the five-year mission, right? He's boldly gone where no one has gone before. He just wishes he had some of his crew with him, since it's not exactly smart for a captain to visit some foreign planet without an away team.]
[Once more, he flips open his comm and looks skyward, flinching at the rain.]
Captain Kirk to the bridge. Anyone there?
[Spock? Bones? Uhuru?]
no subject
Probably not. Unless that thing's capable of communicating across different dimensions.
no subject
Stranger things have happened.
[Like this. This is pretty strange right here. The only reason he can think of for the stranger's reluctance to show himself is that he's not sure if Kirk is aggressive or not.]
Don't be afraid. I'm not here to bring any harm.

Well, you could at least be a little nicer, grouch.
[With a sigh he shrugs and shakes his head before turning around to address the newcomer.]
Sorry, but calling home isn't on the daily list. Name's Zack.
[His eyes seem to almost glow a little in the dimness and his smile is equally as bright.]
no subject
Jim.
[The man seems nice enough. He glances in the direction the fire lizard just went before turning back to Zack.]
That was an interesting creature. What was it?
[Because it looked an awful lot like a dragon to Kirk.]
(no subject)
Action
Its nice to walk with no one around. She puts her fingers between her lips and whistles. After a few seconds she lets out a depressed sigh and continues on her walk.
As her eyes scan the street and she sees someone staring at the sky. Yuna runs over and places the umbrella over his head. It isn't going to stop the fact that he is already wet but she hopes the kind gesture would cheer him up.]
You alright?
[He looks like he's in distress and most likely new.]
Action
[He smiles with a quick gaze cast around their surroundings.]
And lost. No big deal.
[He definitely appreciates the umbrella, as well as the friendliness of the local populace.]
I don't suppose you can tell me which planet I'm on?
Action
Blake Belladonna | RWBY
[At least she had a book to read. Her eyes flicked back to the book in her hands, staying aware of those around her]
no subject
[Blake would've suddenly found Yang dropping down into the seat next to her with a 'fwump', several books in her arms from a variety of subjects that Yang wasn't actually interested in and probably would never read. She just liked the covers!]
Whatcha reading? Anything good? It sucks about the rain, doesn't it?
[The blonde so would've rather been outside doing something. Anything.]
no subject
[A cursory look at the stack in her arms let her know that Yang had chosen based on covers. Blake smiled a little over her book, lowering it slightly]
I should be asking you the same questions.

Phew! Of all the days to forget my umbrella.
[As she's wringing out her hair, though, she notices someone sitting not too far away that she's never met before. Curious, she approaches the girl.]
The weather's crazy today, huh?
no subject
[And the gray skin]
[And the horns]
[Her mouth opened slightly as her bow twitched] Yes. It's certainly... wet.

Aki | Misao
[it's time for the new people to roll in and so there is a young girl in a school uniform holding one slightly bloody baseball bat at the train station and looking confused. this wasn't exactly what Aki expected when she walked out of the shrine to find the last sacrifice! where the heck was everyone?]
Mister Onigawara? Novella! Did the school warp again...?
[...well, whatever! if that was the case, then all she had to do was track down Sohta or Tohma and sacrifice them and then Misao's curse would be broken. let's get down to the library, wherever it was. Novella was always there, so Aki could get some help.]
no subject
Hmm... So I'm going to require these types of parts, and then...
*He overhears someone entering the library. This warrants him looking up for a bit, but he goes right back to the book.*
This shouldn't be too difficult... The flash bulbs might be an issue though...
no subject
putting on a big smile, Aki walks up to him.]

Jeanne d'Arc . Fate/
The jewel (pocket watch) that had been given into her keeping bears no sign or symbol she can recognize, but the lines and curves of the Cathedral are familiar. She is wary of all she has seen thus far, but here is some little echo of calm.
It is no rival to Reims in glory, of course, but she has yet to step inside and see what sanctuary is offered.]
/excuse me while I use this test-drive thread to gear up for hiatus-return?
The building itself is a landmark, however, and as such his aerial patrolling passes over them more than once. He doesn't recognize the figure stood before it and that fact in itself requires his attention. Silently Sephiroth drops to the cobblestones a decent distance from Jeanne, his large black wing vanishing smokily behind him as he approaches on foot.]
Whatever sanctuary you might expect, you must be cautious not to accept it.
[Intent, lightly-gleaming eyes dance over Jeanne's back. Affording her the high-level of attention that he does whenever he comes across someone he doesn't know.]
4 Only the lonely get chased out of the woods by dryads
The closer he walked toward the large tree in the center of the clearing, the more he felt at peace and wanted to stay here. With a smile he leaned against it. A moss covered yet feminine hand reached out to touch Baralai's chest and instantly he was alarmed.
"AHHHH!" Baralai's youthful voice that wasn't used to shouting cracked and squeaked. He twisted away from the tree's grasp. Logically, he knew that trees didn't have hands but this wasn't his world and he knew that the moment he couldn't read the language written on the boards.
He was in a strange place with even stranger creatures but to make matters worse, he was lost. Trains didn't exist in his world and yet one brought him here. From what he was able to decode, which was very little, he knew it was a city and that was also from logic. A city with a giant ruby at the center must have a name with the word ruby in it. At least he thought so.
His mind was shattered once more as the dryad stepped out of the tree. She was a beautiful creature and moved with the grace of a dancer but that wasn't what alarmed Baralai. It was the way she spoke to him in whispers as if the wind itself carried her voice to entice him to come closer.
He ran instead of letting the impulse to his baser instincts take control. Perhaps it was his guilt that kept him from giving in, a guilt so deep seeded that even the thought of giving in would spell doom. He had enough of being controlled.
He didn't look back as he ran out of the woods. "Stay away from me!" He shouted through heavy pants and desperate actions to clear away the branches that seemed to move and grab at him. "Leave me alone!"
The dryad giggled playfully and used the trees to keep Baralai in his place with her. It was then that he made one more desperate attempt and this meant using his weapon of choice, his weighted staff. "I said STAY BACK!"
He hoped that his shouting would draw attention. Instead, the dryad backed away and disappeared back to her tree. Baralai was left dumbfounded and decided that it was better to get out as soon as he could. He replaced the staff onto his back and ran back the same way he came and hoped that he could find his way out.
"Someone, anyone, I need help!" He shouted.
Rawr!
The victim came into view and Yuna almost stopped in her tracks."Baralai!" Her face showed her obvious surprise but there really wasn't time for her to stop and stare.
She moved her eyes back towards the woodland creature and glared. "Go away or I will shoot you."
Hi there!
He looked at the guns in her hands and reached for his own gun that he had hidden under his knee length coat. He stepped forward and leveled his gun to the dryad.
The initial shot from Yuna caused the creature to pause and jump back in a backward tuck to land gracefully by her tree. Baralai's dark brown eyes narrowed with a renewed strength.
"What are these things?" Baralai asked without taking his gaze off of the dryad.
:D

Kirei Kotomine | Fate/Zero
[Passerby outide might have even noticed the usual creepy disembodied organ music had changed slightly today.]
no subject
don't mind the creepy lineface girl just kind of creepin' around your church, looking like she's worried she's going to be attacked at any minute.
This place kind of reminds of the Otherworld and that's comforting and worrying in equal measure. Big creepy buildings with weird architecture are right up her alley, but she's still half-expecting Dead Master to come out of nowhere any second and start trying to slice her up. ]

[Which is to say, Kirei would just be watching her extra carefully while trying to determine just what the hell he was actually looking at.]

She doesn't expect to hear the organ going, and playing a tune she's not heard played there before. Her entrance is slow, hands deep in pockets, as she approaches the organ and its player. Who, as she came closer, took on a very familiar shape.]
F-Father Kotomine?
no subject
[He looked up without the slightest trace of recognition; if any expression was on his face at all, it was probably shades of confusion.]
Yes, what is it?
