[Mabel's going about the city right now, kickin' it with her pig Waddles.

She's literally so confused to why she was on a train and why this happened and all that good stuff... but she aint discouraged, this is an adventureeee.

Though she is hoping her brother's around somewhere. :I]

[ One would argue that very few sights leave the Painted Doll quite as genuinely impressed and even then there is room to question if it isn't just an act. She is not frightened - she is annoyed and even then she makes a point to not show it. Could this be punishment? Most certainly not. She has not broken any rules nor disrespected their ringleader. Such foolishness- but what then? Where exactly is she and why are there no familiar faces in the vicinity?

The Doll has acknowledged flyers in the train station and the communicator, but instead of asking for directions, she takes it to herself to explore the dark streets of Ruby City. She will have her answers in the end; all it takes is a little patience. ]

[ There is now a seven-foot-something Santa Claus trying to tinker with he watch (and of course failing to dismantle it) standing at the train station, muttering in Russian about it being difficult. Probably magitech, but how... ]

What's the meaning of this?

Can someone provide information on where I am? I don't recall Ruby City being a place that belonged in Japan or any other place on Earth.

Unless this is not Earth. In that case, I would like to know how did I get here and why was I brought here. And maybe a place where I can seek for information about this city and our captors.

And if anyone of my... friends are reading this, this is Kyouko Kirigiri. If not, the questions above are still applied.

_{[CLEARLY HE'S HAVING A REALLY WEIRD DREAM.]}

[The video feed starts with a man sitting on the bench close to the train entrance. He crosses his legs, stretching his arms along the bench with a cocky smile across his face.]

So who was it this time? How many curses does one must bear until they get tired of it? Can't a father for once have the pleasure to stay with his daughter for at least 5 minutes after 28 years? No, don't answer that. I know already know the answer.

I'm admired at the old-fashioned entry in this place. It has its own charm, and kudos for having a clock tower bigger than the one in Storybrooke. Not like I walked much outside, but I certainly have a slight idea of my surroundings, and I'm quite disappointed at the originality of this place so far.

So what exactly is going on here? I'm going to guess there's no portal back home because I don't recall something as lame as a telescope hitting against the back of my head to try to make me faint after calling me insane. And as a matter of fact, that actually happened and, hint: it was lame and a little sad. Yes, exactly. It was sad how the sheriff tried to be strong enough to knock me down. I guess she's not blonde only to show up.

But enough with the endless rambling. May you make the favor of filling me in of where I am?

[Eddie isn't the type to stand around when he's dropped into a new place. As soon as the train stops, he's off and making his way into the city. It takes him longer than it really should to realize he has a pocket watch on his person. It takes a little fiddling before he figures out oh, it records video? A pocket watch is more advanced than his cell phone.]

H'llo? Anyone gettin' this? Name's Novak and I'd really like to know where I am and I ended up on a train? Hell, I don't even need to know the second part. Just let me know what state I'm in and I can hitchhike back, not like I haven't done it before. I just really need to get home or my wife is gonna wear a hole in the floor.

[An unfamiliar face is among those in the city today. He looks very worn out, and somewhat lost. Still, he's trying to get himself acquainted with the city.]

Excuse me. Do you have a moment?

[And now he's addressing you.]

[Sashaying through the city streets like a woman on a mission is Kate Argent, recently awake and recently, well, dropped off.

She's looking for information, and it's obvious. Stopping at the corner of a building and messing with the wrist-watch, she relays a message.]

Hello, you wonderful people. Anyone mind telling me why exactly I've woken up here or do I have to figure out on my own?

[To be fair, she doesn't seem particularly incensed about it.]

[Stumbling from the train, she lets out a surprised yelp before landing onto the ground.] Oh!

[Sitting up, Katy rubs at her head and looks around with wide eyes.] ..Hello..? Unico?

[Standing slowly, she cups her hands over her mouth] Unico! Are you there?

[He just sort of stands there, awkwardly and a little bit distraught.]

Hum...
Hello?

If this is anyone's idea of a sick joke, then I think I missed the punchline.
[And that's the tone of an annoyed young woman.]

Hello? Hello? Can anyone hear me?

[ There's a small girl who can't be any older than eight frantically talking into the watch. She looks scared and why shouldn't she be? She's all alone in a strange new place without her parents, blah blah blah.

Really, it's a lot easier to get things if people pity you a little more. Don't mind her playing that up for a bit. ]

[Bae is walking around the city, unsure of his new surroundings. Was this the new land without magic? It must be as it was very different to home. He tried to take everything in as he wished his papa was here.]

[A tiny fairy is floating around the train station, picking up small items and sprinkling dust on them to make them float behind her. She's speaking to herself, but if you're not her size, all you can hear is a faint jingle of bells.]

I've never seen so many Lost Things in my life...

[ The yelling had begun inside the train, the moment he had woken up. ]

Oh come on losing your touch already? Killing me would have been easier than this... This.... [ Hatter trails off as he moves to the train's exit, his pace slowing down to a halt as he steps onto the platform.

What is this place? Another one of doctors Dee and Dum's works? They were having far too much fun poking and prodding and driving him over the edge of sanity for that to be it and it was unlike Mad March to pull this off. So where wis he exactly? Well- besides "an old-fashioned train station", that much is obvious. ]

Oy, anyone? [ and after a slight moment of hesitancy: ] Alice?

[ He takes a couple of steps, slow, tentative, until he stops by one of the flyers posted up. As he reaches to tear it off the wall, something drops from his pocket and tumbles down to the floor. ] What...? [ With a frown he picks it up - it's a pocket watch. But there's something odd about it and as he fiddles with it, Hatter accidentally activates the video function. ]

What in the... [ Cursing to himself, he shakes his head and turns back to the flyer. ] Ruby City? Huh, real funny. It measures up to its name, doesn't it? So what happens now? It hardly seems like a good effort on your behalf.

[When the door opens, the person who steps off onto the platform is..

Well, 'person' would be a loose definition.

His posture is uncertain, fingers clumsily gripping at one of the wooden pillars supporting the platform roof as he looks around with eyes holding the odd, misted-grey hue of the Dead. He swallows, a breath rattles in and out of a chest that no longer requires the action, and his free hand reaches up to touch a band-aid stuck to his forehead, as if reassuring himself of something.]

.. Julie.

[The name is softly muttered as he blinks, lurches forwards a step and moves with an awkward, slightly stiff gait that becomes slowly smoother as he walks, towards the station exit. It's not the purposeless, directionless shuffle of a zombie, but something just a little less than 'human'.

Not that he thinks of himself as anything other than human. That's just culturally insensitive.]

[A rusty red droid walks the streets, arms with a large blaster and eery glowing red eyes. He doesn't look nice. In fact, he isn't nice at all. Except to his Master of course, since it's his master.]

Statement: The meatbags in this city are so primitive! Look at these buildings, I could destroy one with one blast!

[Ruby's video is accidental, for the moment--the feed catches her looking off into the distance, like she's trying to figure out where she is by a sense that is definitely not just her sight.

What the hell is this.

When she finally does notice the little pocketwatch broadcasting, she squints at it, holding it off the chain so her image swings back and forth .]

Hellloooooo? Can anyone maybe tell me where the hell I am? I've got work in the morning and I'm pretty sure Gran'll make jail look like Christmas if I don't show up again.

_{[He'd wanted out of Storybrooke more than anything. Now that he remembered who he was, he knew what his mission was. He had to get back home. He had to try once more to bring his brother back.

Unfortunately, this place- Ruby City- is far from being in the heart of Europe. It seems life will never stop screwing with him, but perhaps there is still a way to get back. For now, he treks through the city in hopes of finding someone who can tell him anything.]}

[This isn't the first time Romana's been here. But it's just as disconcerting, the small Italian woman taking slow steps along the platform as she studies her surroundings. She's not injured like she was before, and her hair has grown out, curling around her shoulders, but she's still easily recognisable. And slowly her puzzled look turns to irritation and she huffs, stomping a high heeled foot.]

I don't have time for this shit! Do you know how much I have to do?
